THE ART OF HARMONY
“Maximum Effectiveness with Minimum Aids”
“What if you could move your body exactly as intended by nature—with economy and ease as well as with mental awareness and clarity?”
That’s what the Feldenkrais Method is all about. Feldenkrais said that the purpose of his method was to “make the impossible possible, the hard easy and the easy elegant.”
The Dave Thind Method (DTM) is all about that same Feldenkrais journey, but Dave, an international-level dressage rider, invites the participant to imagine applying those micro awarenesses to riding a horse. The ideal equestrian result is maximum effectiveness with minimal aids. Harmony grows from the economy and ease of movement, awareness and clarity that is learned while lying, sitting or standing quietly on a mat in class.
“The Feldenkrais journey with Dave is enlightening and delightful. Try it.
Your horse will thank you.

DISCOVER THE SIGNATURE PROGRAMMeet Dave Thind
Grand Prix dressage rider. German FN Trainer A (Level III—the highest of the three trainer levels). Certified Feldenkrais® Practitioner.
Dave brings together classical German dressage training and the Feldenkrais Method® to help riders discover what changes when movement becomes easier, clearer and more coordinated.
After a serious riding injury, Dave lived with persistent pain before discovering the Feldenkrais Method®. It helped him move beyond that pain and transformed how he understood movement, riding and the relationship between horse and rider. Helping riders discover greater comfort and freedom—alongside improved feel and performance—remains deeply personal to his work.
Today, he shares that approach with riders of every level: less unnecessary effort, greater awareness, and a deeper partnership with the horse.
Trainer A · Level III
Highest level of the FN trainer pathway
What does Trainer A mean? In the German Equestrian Federation’s three-level trainer system, the progression is Trainer C → Trainer B → Trainer A. Trainer A is Level III, the highest qualification in that pathway—not the entry level. Christoph Hess describes it as a high-level credential that reflects mastery of classical German training principles.
Internationally recognized at Level III. Dave also holds an IGEQ International Level III Equestrian Trainer Passport, recognizing his qualifications at the highest level of IGEQ’s three-tier international trainer framework.
“The panel of judges was thoroughly impressed by Dave's abilities as an instructor and awarded him an almost perfect score.”
— Christoph Hess · Former Director of Training and Education, German Equestrian Federation (FN)

What Is Feldenkrais?
Feldenkrais is a gentle, awareness-based approach to movement that helps you notice how you organize yourself and discover easier options.
Rather than forcing better posture or trying harder, this work helps improve ease, coordination, balance, and nervous system regulation through guided attention and small, thoughtful movements.
For riders, that can mean feeling more organized, more comfortable, and more available to communicate clearly with the horse.
